英検 Eiken
Orca children will sit the Eiken Jr. Gold test on June 17, and the elementary school students will sit the Eiken IBA tests on July 8. At AIS, improving students’ English proficiency is an important educational goal.
5才児児童は6月に英検Jrシルバー、初等部全員は7月に英検IBAを受けます。AISでは、児童の英語力を向上させることが重要な教育目標です。
We encourage current AIS families to also use the test results as a reference for your child’s personal learning at home. Also, for any families considering joining AIS, please use these results as a reference of the entry level English requirement.
ご家庭においても今後の個人的・家庭的学習の参考にしてください。また、AISに入学を検討されている生徒さんや保護者の皆さんには「AIS入学」の参考資料にしてください。
At AIS, the goal of English education is to pass Eiken Level 2 by Grade 3 and Eiken Level Pre-1 by Grade 6. After graduating from AIS, if you want to keep up in English-only classes at a junior high school in Japan or abroad, Eiken Level Pre-1 is essential.
AISではグレード３までに「英検２級」、グレード６までに「英検準１級」に合格することを英語教育の目標にしています。AIS卒業後、内外の中学に進学する場合、完全英語授業について行く為に最低「英検準１級」レベルが必要だからです。
