Aichi International School

AIS warmly welcomes all families considering an education for their child at our unique international school. Located in the Tokai region, AIS offers a distinctive bilingual program in English and Japanese for Grades 1 to 6, alongside a 100% English immersion program for kindergarten children aged 3 to 5 years old. In our elementary program, approximately 70% of the curriculum is taught in English, with the remaining 30% in Japanese.

Our mission is to cultivate “globally-minded individuals” equipped with the knowledge and integrity to succeed responsibly and effectively in an ever-evolving world. As Nagoya City and Aichi Prefecture become more dynamic and cosmopolitan, interest in our school continues to grow.

Since opening in 2006, we have embraced an incredible diversity of students, teachers, and parents from various cultures and backgrounds. Aligned with our mission, we envision not only our students but also our teachers and parents as role models who share and learn from each other.
