All 2025 Applicants

★At the beginning of November, we will send school documents to all families who have applied to enter AIS in 2025. Please return these documents promptly to confirm your place for the 2025 school year.

Turtle Class (3-4 year old class) Applicants

★If you applied for our 2025 Turtle class, to retain the entrance and application fee discount, you must return the documents by November 29th. After this date, the entrance and application fees will revert to their full price.

★In December, an invoice will be sent to new Turtle class families. You will need to pay a deposit of 100,000 yen (excluding tax) to AIS, which will be deducted from your invoice next year.

★Please note that if you return the school documents and pay the invoice but later decide not to enroll at AIS starting in April 2025, you will forfeit your deposit.

★Additionally, applications for the 2025 school year will remain open as long as there are available spaces.

Applicants for admission to Aichi International School must provide evidence that they are physically and emotionally fit, of good moral character, and academically capable. All applicants must:

• complete AIS application procedures;
• be eligible for re-enrollment in all schools previously attended;
• not have been suspended or expelled from school within the past twelve months;
• have acceptable conduct, grades and work habits;
• agree to comply with all school and parental policies. Please read AIS Parents Rules

The AIS school year runs from April through to March, with a one-month summer vacation in August and a two-week winter vacation in December and January, and a two-week vacation in March. The school year is divided into three terms: the first term runs from April to July; the second term runs from September to December; and the third term runs from January to March.

Students may join AIS anytime during the school year; however, entry to each grade is determined by the child’s age as of April 2nd.

However, the school admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all rights, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
