Here at AIS, we spent some time in May thinking about the situation in Kumamoto, and after dedicating an assembly to reflecting on the events that happened there, the students drew pictures to show their support for Kumamoto, incorporating Kumamon, the city mascot and popular character. In addition to sending our students’ drawings, AIS parents generously contributed snacks and candy for the children in Kumamoto. Thank you very much! We have sent two boxes, full of drawings and snacks to encourage the children there.
